I worked a year as a meat cutter for Winn Dixie after high school, then spent 20 years in the US Air Force. While in the Air Force I worked as a Firefighter,Aircraft instrument repairman & Medical Logistics. While in the Air Force, I was stationed in California & Florida 2 times and Bermuda, Germany, Iceland and Asia as well as Ohio. Then I got stationed in Florida one last time before retiring. After I retired, I worked in Auto parts for 3 years then got a job at the Cape with Johnson Control. Then was picked up by Space Gateway Support. I currently work in the tool crib and auto parts at both Cape and PAFB. I issue tools, personal protection and calibrated equipment. My youngest son still lives at home and have one living on his own in Pennsylvania. My middle son died November 8, 2001. I have two grand children, one girl born Apr 7, 2000 and a boy born Apr 8, 1995, both by my deceased son. Both my parents and my wife's father passed away in 1997. I got to work on the 30th and 35th class reunion committees.

US Army Military Policeman/Security Specialist for the army Security Agency 67-72 with duty assignments in Nha Trang, Vietnam and Fort Devens, Mass. Graduated from BCC in '72 and from UCF in '75 with a B.S. Degree in Respiratory Therapy. I have had a very full and wonderful life. I have been married for over 36 years to Jim who is the best thing that ever happened to me next to receiving the Lord in my life. We have 3 grown children, who attended CHS and graduated from there in '87, '90 & '92. We have 6 grandchildren, ranging in ages from 13 to 2 years old. I retired from Kimberly-Clark Corporation last year after 19 years as a sales representative and the last 8 years as a supervisor of 22 retail merchandisers. I now do volunteer work at my church and at WEGO a missionary organization. Last year I went on my first mission trip to Nicaragua that changed my life and made me see that living simple is best. My advice to anyone would be the only true joy in life is finding Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. If you do all the other things will fall in line. My hobbies are traveling with my husband, he's retired too, doing things with our grandchildren and volunteering.

Married to Gary since '73. Daughter Keri and husband Keith Donald are now living in W Melbourne. They are both computer people - she works for Harris, he's writing and speaking throughtout the world. Daughter Kelly & huband Jason Albert living here in AL. He is the son of Bob and Lucy Albert (also CHS alum) She works for Boeing and has almost completed her Masters. She will be getting that @ FIT this year! Son Kyle, just turned 21. was attending college on a baseball scholarship but with shoulder surgery last week he is now on the bench. He's looking forward to attending Auburn University in the fall and completing his degree. Hopes to come to FL this summer to intern. No grandchildren yet -
After graduation, I moved back to Ft. Walton Beach and attended PJC for a semester until I realized that my grades weren't going to keep me from being drafted...so I joined the Navy and served in submarines for 7 years. After I was discharged, I got my degree in Bus Admin from the University of Florida and then went to work for the navy as a civilian in California. I worked at various positions until I retired in 2002. I was then hired by a contractor who let me do the same thing I was doing as a civil servant only I get to work from home. The commute is great and I can work in my pajamas. In between all that work I got married a few times, had a son who is 22 now and in his last year of college. I'm currently married to my junior prom date, Wendy Wenner. I'm into golf and she's into shopping and politics. And we're both into the GATORS!!!
Still married after 36 years. Two children, Juan Manuel (34) and Jose Luis (32). Graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 1972 as a Ocean Engineer and obtained Land Surveyor State License in 1984. Co-owned a small surveying company from 1985 to 2000 and now I let someone else have all the headaches. Hobbies include creative writing, photography and computers. I attended the 10th and 35th reunions and am looking forward to the 40th. I have visited 29 states and would like to see them all when I retire.
Guess I finally gave in to my permanent case of sand-between-the-toes and came home! I'm an RN at the big hospital in Melbourne, Holmes Regional, in pediatrics again (still!) and love being back home. My 3 wonderful kids and 2 precious grandsons are spread from Denver to Indianapolis to Philadelphia, and soon to Germany, when the last of the 3 will bless me with yet another fantastic family member when she gets married there in August! After graduation joined the US Navy. Served over twenty years and retired in October 1985. Was stationed mostly on east coast of the US both on ships and ashore. Also stationed overseas in Vietnam, Greece, Crete, Ethiopia and ended up travelling or visiting 42 different countries. Met my wife, Margaret while visitng relatives in Australia and married in Aug 1971. Daughter, Gretchen, born in 1975 and married in 2004 and daughter, Bronya, born in 1977 and married in 2001. Point if clarification to avoid any confusion: the last name of "WILSON" was my stepfather's name that I used during my school years. With that said.... After graduation from CHS, I attended college for a year then enlisted in the Navy in Oct 66. Initial training as a jet engine/aircraft maintenance tech on the F4 Phantom. Two subsequent Viet Nam deployments. Four years later, entered the Flight Engineer Program for the P3C Orion (patrol and sub hunter aircraft). Eventually returned to carrier based aviation and fighter aircraft (F14 Tomcat)where I spent the majority of my career in aviation maintenance management. Stateside assignments in California, Texas, Maryland and Virginia. Deployments and conflicts involved in too numerous to list. Retired from active duty in Jan 98 with 31 years of service with the rank of Master Chief(E9). It was an adventure and education as promised. After the service, moved to Colorado and went to work for the Raytheon/Beech Aircraft Co. as a logistics support manager. Currently trying to slow down some after working in a high tempo profession all these years. My wife, Vicki and I have four children between us. I have a daughter and son, ages 32 and 30. She, a son and daughter, ages 27 and 24. We have one grandson so far. Family keeps us busy. As we live in a beautiful state, we enjoy camping, bass and fly fishing when we get the chance. I have two brothers who live in Pompano Beach, but haven't been back to Florida an quite awhile.

From college at UWF, I served as a corpsman (Med Tech) in the Navy for 4 yrs. Then to seminary and ordination in 1978. I was a pastor in AL, MS, PA and CA. I also served from 1985 - 2004 as a Navy Chaplain, on active duty in the Persian Gulf War with the Marines. I am now pastoring in the San Diego area. Sunday School at 9:30 and worship at 11am & 6pm. After 30 years as a "space cadet" on the Apollo & Shuttle programs, retired to the North Carolina mountains to help second husband Doyle complete an abandoned log home in the woods. It has been a challenging adventure. Stay busy with Bible Study, tennis, travel, perennial garden, volunteering, book club, mountain hiking and most importantly, being a grandma. I dodged the draft by joining the Air Force in 1967. Then spent 5 tours in Southeast Asia and finally retired in 1990. Moved to Warner Robins, worked for the Analytic Sciences Corp, then Mercer University Engineering Research Center. In 1997 moved to Marietta GA to work on the F-22 project for Lockheed Martin. In 2004 promoted to Senior ERngineer and moved to Owego NY to work on US101 Presidential Helicopter program as Chief Test Engineer. Love to travel; have been to Italy, France, England, Ireland, Thailand, India, Spain, most Carribean Islands, Mexico, Canada and several places I've forgottten. I'd like to play some golf during the reunion and dance with all the tall ladies.

After the birth of my daughter Joey, I was a stay at home mom. Now I am a stay at home wife. I have had a few temporary jobs and part-time activites over the years but no real career other than domestic engineer. The important people in my life are John, husband for 25 years. Daughter Joey and her husband Hugh, a railroad engineer, and my two granddaughters Milly (12) and Addimae (8). From 1967 till 1980 my life was a real soap opera. Drama, Drama, Drama. Wow, lots happening since I last left an update. Gary and I have been married now for 34 years in Aug. I am now a Grammy of a beautiful 1 year old via daughter Keri & Kyle.. they are expecting their second ?? Aug. 31. Son-in-law, Jason Albert and Daughter Kelly are expecting their first on Aug. 21!! I left Cocoa in 1966, having joined the Navy for four years. Most of my srevice time was spent at Glynco Naval Air Station Brunswick Ga., with a year in Viet Nam and some time in San Fransisco. Cocoa grew up without me and it was no longer home. OR: was it me? Maybe I had grown in a different way and didn't fit anymore? I decided to make my fortune building race cars in North Carolina. WELL: I didn't succeed at that but I did succeed in fathering the most precious person on this planet. She is now a mother and a mother to be and still resides in the heart of NASCAR. I finally found my way back to Florida in 1998, albeit the West Coast. I live within 300 ft of the north tip of the OLD TAMPA BAY. I will stay here at least until I retire then I may find my way back HOME (Cocoa). April 10, 2010 is the date for retirement. I hope to see everyone at reunion 45. Until then lets do MURDOCKS in the village again real soon.
